A Custom Home Built For Entertaining

This Paquin Design Build Custom home in Arnold, MD looks warm and welcoming as it reflects the evening's sun setting over the water in Arnold, MD. The home was designed to accommodate a family of four and to include an apartment for a few snow birds traveling back and forth from the state of Florida. The apartment is located on the second floor and easily accessible by elevator.

We were thrilled with the level of thought that was put into each and every aspect of the home's open concept design. Knowing that the kitchen would be the center of most of their daily activity, and a hub for entertaining, two islands were built into the design. One island is used for food preparation while the other is a space where family and guests can gather and socialize just steps away. Large windows above the kitchen sink fold back to a porch-side-bar that integrates the indoor activities with those choosing to be outside. All of this spills over onto a lush backyard, complete with fire pit and a dock house overlooking the waters of the Magothy River.

I don't know about you, but I don't think it gets much better than this!
