Construction In Maryland is "Open for Business".
On Monday, March 23, Governor Hogan issued an executive order mandating the closure of all non-essential businesses, establishments, and facilities in Maryland. Many businesses were deemed "essential" and included residential construction, plumbers, electricians, roofers, landscapers and more.
At Paquin Design Build, we are grateful that we've been able to move our projects forward and deliver new homes to our customers, but like everyone else, we've had to adjust the way we do business on a day to day basis.
On the job site, we have limited the number of trades and technicians working on a project at any given time. We recommend and encourage practicing the use of masks, sanitizers and keeping a safe distance from others at all times. This has slowed progress but on a positive note, we are inching in the right direction.
Video conferencing has worked its way into our everyday work environment with our weekly team meetings being held digitally. These meetings have allowed our staff to stay safe at home but most importantly informed on all aspects of each build cycle. We have encouraged our customers to conference with us online as well. We feel that this keeps our customers involved in the conversation and limits communication gaps.
Virtual consultations have replaced face to face meetings making it an ideal time to get any project started. If you've been considering a move, it's an easy way to learn more about our business, discuss options with our architectural team, and/or get our estimate team started working on ideas and pricing for your project.
As much as we'd like our State to reopen and return to "business as usual", we understand that this may be with us for many months to come. We will continue to make the adjustments needed along the way to continue offering the best customer/build experience we can. It's what you deserve.
Stay safe and most importantly, stay healthy.
